Government of Canada and Territory of Nunavut to Announce Support for Agreements to End Gender-based Violence

September 28, 2023 – Iqaluit, Nunavut — On September 29, the Honourable Marci Ien, Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth, along with the Honourable Margaret Nakashuk, Nunavut’s Minister responsible for the Status of Women, and the Honourable John Main, Nunavut’s Minister of Health, will make an announcement supporting the victims and survivors of gender-based violence in Nunavut.
