The Governments of Canada and Quebec sign bilateral agreement to end gender-based violence

November 23, 2023 – Quebec City, Quebec — On November 24, the Honourable Marci Ien, Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth, along with the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Public Services and Procurement and Member of Parliament for Québec; Martine Biron, Quebec’s Minister of International Relations and La Francophonie and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women; and Isabelle Lecours, Member for Lotbinière-Frontenac and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education, will announce a bilateral agreement to end gender-based violence in Quebec.
