Canada’s first national Youth Policy holds a commitment to create meaningful opportunities for youth voices to be heard, respected and considered. Building from this, work is underway towards the first State of Youth Report. The Youth Secretariat is inviting youth (ages 12-30) to continue sharing their insights and experiences, specifically now around the following youth-identified priorities:
- Environment and climate action;
- Leadership and impact;
- Innovation, skills and learning;
- Truth and reconciliation;
- Health and wellness;
And the impacts of COVID-19.
This report will create greater awareness of how youth are doing, highlight initiatives and programs available to youth and help shape future directions. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more about holding a youth engagement session.
While you’re here, be sure to check out the many other opportunities available to get involved on issues that matter to you.
