CUSTODES PACIS (Guardians of peace)
The jaeger inhabits the Arctic and coastal islands, possesses exceptionally keen eyesight, and is extremely aggressive when protecting its territory. It thus represents the Wing’s resources employed to protect Canadian territory and airspace. The lightning bolts symbolize the aerospace defense system’s communications and surveillance devices.
