Captain Brendan Pellow

Captain (Capt) Brendan Pellow was born in Richmond, British Columbia, and developed a love for aviation at a young age while flying with his Grandad. Growing up in a family immersed in aviation further fueled his passion into adulthood.

In 2009, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces through the Regular Officer Training Program and earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Victoria.

After graduating in 2013, he was posted to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where he earned his pilot’s wings on the CT-156 Harvard II. His career then took him to Bagotville, Quebec, where he deployed in support of multiple domestic and international Operations as a member of 2 Wing, the Royal Canadian Air Force’s air expeditionary wing.

In 2019, Capt Pellow returned to Moose Jaw where he began instructing on the CT-156 Harvard II, which led to his selection as a member of the Training Detachment Team for the Future Aircrew Training Project in 2022.

In 2024, he achieved a lifelong dream when he joined the Canadian Forces Snowbirds as Snowbird 4, flying in the First Line Astern position.

In his personal life, Capt Pellow prioritizes quality time with his family, enjoys cooking and working in their garden.
