Corporal Eric Henry
Aircraft Maintenance Control and Records Office Technician, Canadian Forces Snowbirds
While being born in Midland, Ontario and raised in Kingsville, Ontario, Corporal Eric Henry’s heart lives in Belleville, Ontario where he attended Quinte Secondary School and Loyalist College. In high school years, he became interested in the Air Force while watching Canadian Forces Base Trenton’s aircraft over his house. At the age of 15, he joined 608 Duke of Edinburgh Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron aiming to achieve the glider and power pilot’s license program. Cpl Henry did not achieve this goal, however he did successfully follow a path of music through the organization.
Cpl Henry decided a combination of his passion of automotive mechanics and passion of aviation would be a good suit to become an Aviation Systems Technician. After training at Canadian Forces Base Borden he took on the opportunity to be a member of 431 Air Demonstration Squadron in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. 2023 will be Cpl Henry’s second year on the show season, joining as the Aircraft Maintenance Control and Records Office Technician.
