Snowbird 2A, Aviation Systems Technician

Although born in Midland, Ontario and raised in Kingsville, Ontario, Corporal (Cpl) Eric Henry’s heart lives in Belleville, Ontario, where he attended Quinte Secondary School and Loyalist College. In high school, he became interested in the Royal Canadian Air Force while watching Canadian Forces Base Trenton’s aircraft over his house. At the age of 15, he joined 608 Duke of Edinburgh Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron and successfully followed a path of music through the organization.

Cpl Henry decided his passions for both automotive mechanics and aviation would be a good fit to become an Aviation Systems Technician. After training at Canadian Forces Base Borden, he had the opportunity to become a member of 431 Air Demonstration Squadron in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, where he has been posted for six years. Cpl Henry has travelled with the team in 2022, 2023 and 2025. 2026 will be Cpl Henry’s fourth year on the show team.
