Army Lessons Learned Centre (ALLC)
Mission
To provide timely and relevant lessons related to land operations in order to inform the development and generation of combat effective, multipurpose forces for the Canadian Army.
Vision
As the center of excellence, the ALLC will ensure the Army Lessons Process is integrated across the CAF, connected to allied and partner lessons learned communities, and supports the knowledge requirements of the Army.
Endstate
Through the regular practice of the Army Lessons Process, ALLC will be the centre of analysis of land based operational and training experiences, enhancing the sharing of content within a professional body of knowledge.
Objectives
- Promote a culture of learning in the Canadian Army.
- Support Commanders with lessons and experiences from operations and training.
- Synchronize, train, and support the Canadian Army lessons learned community of practice.
- Collect, analyse, communicate, and archive lessons from land-based operations and training across the CA and CAF.
- Exchange lessons with our allies and mission partners.
- Provide support to doctrine, training, and capability development.
