Canadian Army Modernization Hub

Modernization is not optional; it is essential. Our vision is clear: by 2030 the Canadian Army will be an interoperable, relevant, digitally transformed, modern Army, capable of providing the Government of Canada and around the world in competition, crisis or conflict. Modernization has begun, and it will drive forward with a sense of urgency. The plan will secure approval following Army Council in Fall 2025, with structural modernization as the initial main effort and implementation started by APS 2026. The Army Modernization Team (AMT) is developing the plan, while the Canadian Army Land Warfare Centre (CALWC) crafts the supporting concept.
