News release

February 8, 2019 – Halifax, NS - Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency

Innovation spurs Atlantic Canada’s economic growth by helping globally competitive firms expand their markets and create more high-value jobs, strengthening the middle class and those seeking to join it. Driven to bring its unique sports science audience to high-performance athletes in new markets, Kinduct Technologies Inc. is gearing up to take advantage of growth opportunities in the Asian Pacific region.

The world-leading data and analytics software provider’s popular Athlete Intelligence System (AIS) platform allows human performance and health organizations to spend less time managing their data and more time using it to inform decisions, promote constant improvement and produce exceptional results. Using a targeted marketing campaign, trade shows and product demonstrations to highlight the technology’s full capabilities, the company is working to capitalize on active opportunities in maturing markets in Japan, China, Singapore, Australia and the Philippines.

Today, Andy Fillmore, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism and

Member of Parliament for Halifax, on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), announced Government of Canada support to help Kinduct further expand its product into international markets.

This investment builds on commitments made by the Government of Canada and the four Atlantic Provinces to drive economic growth in the region through the Atlantic Growth Strategy, which supports strategic investments in initiatives that build on the region’s competitive advantages, such as its strong export potential, growing innovation network and skilled workforce.
