1.2 kg of cocaine seized in Ottawa

News Release

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced today the seizure of 1.2 kg of cocaine at the Ottawa Cargo Centre.

 

On April 20, 2016, CBSA officers seized a package at a local courier processing centre in Ottawa after the parcel was examined and indicated positive for cocaine. The drugs were concealed within contents of beauty creams shipped from Aruba and destined to an Ottawa address.  

 

The cocaine was turned over to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
