Suspected cocaine found underneath airline catering trolleys at Pearson Airport

 The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced a seizure of suspected cocaine found on the bottom of an aircraft's catering trolleys.

On February 8, 2017, while searching an aircraft at Toronto Pearson International Airport, border services officers (BSO) discovered anomalies on the aircraft's catering trolleys.  Upon intensified examination, BSOs discovered seven brick-shaped packages affixed to the base of the trolleys.  The BSOs probed the packages which revealed a white powedery substance wrapped in plastic.  The substance tested positicve for suspected cocaine and wieghed more than seven kilograms in total.

The suspected cocaine was turned over to authorities.
