Service Disruption: St. Stephen (Ferry Point Bridge) Port of Entry
News release
October 18, 2022 St. Stephen, New Brunswick Canada Border Services Agency
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) continues to perform essential upgrades to its three primary inspections lanes at the St. Stephen (Ferry Point Bridge) border crossing in St. Stephen, New Brunswick (NB). As part of this work, travellers are asked to take note of the following service disruption:
On October 24, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., travellers must use an alternate border crossing, such as St. Stephen 3rd Bridge or Milltown.
This service disruption is required in order to complete essential electrical upgrades at the Ferry Point Bridge border crossing.
Service is expected to resume by 4:00 p.m. on the same day, however only one primary inspection lane will be open until February 2023. To avoid delays, travellers are encouraged to consider alternate border crossings, especially during peak travel periods.
The CBSA thanks all travellers and commercial clients for their patience and collaboration during the ongoing construction period.
