How to donate as an employee

Through e-Pledge, the digital workplace giving platform, you can make a donation by credit card (one-time or monthly), PayPal, or spread your donation over the year through payroll deductions. The e-Pledge platform is secure and lets employees make donations or pay for events quickly, easily and securely. The platform does not support pre-authorized debit transactions.

Monthly payroll or credit card deductions provide steady, reliable support that charities can count on throughout the year, helping keep vital programs running and reaching people when they need them most.

You can also make a difference through volunteering. Connect with your organization’s campaign team to find ways to get involved.

How to change or stop your pledge

For payroll and monthly credit card pledges, you can change your donation amount, designation or payment method in the same month of your pledge. To make a change, contact the GCWCC processor.

For payroll deductions pledges, you can stop your deductions as follows:

  • Prior to the Payroll Deduction Deadline – contact the GCWCC processor
  • At any time after the deadline – contact your pay office
Note: Once your deductions have stopped, let your GCWCC local manager know the date of your last payroll deduction.

If you take an unpaid leave of absence, parental leave or retire, your payroll deductions will stop automatically. They will not automatically restart when you return to work.
