GC Has Talent

Back by popular demand, the 2021 GCWCC Virtual Launch Event is holding the public servant talent show. Let’s celebrate the diversity of public servant’s talents, special skills, knowledge, and unique abilities.

Show us what you got!

Send a picture or video (30 seconds max) of you demonstrating your best talents or something cool. Whether it’s origami or your collection of chips that look like former Prime Ministers, we want to see it. Select clips will be used for the launch event and for any supporting social media for the 2021 campaign to showcase the public service in a digital environment.

1.    Send an email to to indicate your name, department and a brief description of your talent.

2.    Use your phone or computer camera to record up to 30 seconds of you demonstrating your unique talent. Performances of talents should be positive and consistent with public service values.

3.    Submit your clip to the Google Drive link we provide you before August 9, 2021.

4.    Tune in to the virtual launch event on September 8.

Chair's Message

I am excited to be taking over as chair for this year’s GCWCC campaign. I want to say thank you for the support you showed in making the 2020 campaign a huge success. After a year of COVID, I am constantly reminder of the lucky position we are in to help our fellow Canadians from coast to coast to coast. Your continued enthusiasm and generosity both in donating and volunteering is such an important factor in changing the lives of those in our communities. What we learned over the last year is that now, more than ever we need to stand together and get through these tough times. The GCWCC is one way we can give back. I look forward to supporting you during our 2021 campaign.

Erin O’Gorman

National Chair GCWCC 2021 and Associate Secretary, Treasury Board Secretariat
