Minister Wilkinson to participate in dedication to service ceremony for Canadian Coast Guard Ship Captain Molly Kool

St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador – The Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson will be in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador for the official dedication to service ceremony of the first new Coast Guard icebreaker in 25 years, the CCGS Captain Molly Kool.
Minister Wilkinson will be joined by the Governor General of Canada, Her Excellency, the Right Honourable Julie Payette and Sponsor of the vessel, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, Her Honour the Honourable Judy May Foote.
There will be open coverage of the ceremony, and a tour of the vessel following the formal program.
