Parliamentary Secretary Beech to officially open the new  Coast Guard Station in Victoria, B.C.

Victoria, B.C. – Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, and Member of Parliament for Burnaby North – Seymour, Terry Beech will make an announcement on the official opening of the Canadian Coast Guard’s Search and Rescue Station in Victoria. This is one of three new stations in British Columbia.

NOTE: Media wishing to attend the virtual event are required to register with Fisheries and Oceans Canada’s Pacific Region Media Relations at media.pac@dfo-mpo.gc.ca before Tuesday, May 25 at 10:00 am. A confirmation email containing the link and instructions for participating in the virtual event will only be provided to media representatives who have registered.
