Grand Opening of New Canadian Coast Guard Base and Vessel Dedication

Port Hardy, B.C. – The Canadian Coast Guard will be holding a grand opening event for their new Hardy Bay Base located in Port Hardy, British Columbia. In addition to the facility opening, there will also be a ceremony to formally welcome the CCGS Pachena Bay to the fleet.

Media are invited to attend the event. After the announcement, there will be an opportunity for media to ask questions.
