Media Technical Briefing on the MV Thamesborg

Media are invited to attend a technical briefing regarding the response operations for the grounded vessel MV Thamesborg in the Franklin Strait, Nunavut.

When: Monday, October 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. ET

Where: The briefing will be held over zoom.

What: Media will be able to ask questions to federal officials from the Canadian Coast Guard, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Transport Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, the Government of Nunavut, and the owner of the MV Thamesborg, Wagenborg.
