MSC Baltic III Technical Briefing

April 30, 2026 – Lark Harbour, NL – Department of National Defence / Canadian Coast Guard

Media are invited to attend a virtual technical briefing for an update on the MSC Baltic III, the vessel gounded in Cedar Cove, near Lark Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Canadian Coast Guard, along with representatives from Resolve Marine, will provide an update on the next steps for the operation and the removal of the wreck from Cedar Cove. Representatives from Environment and Climate Change Canada will also be in attendance.
