Minister Joly to Travel to Mexico to Highlight Women’s Leadership and Promote Canadian Culture on the International Stage

OTTAWA – The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will travel to Mexico City from November 7 to 10 to highlight women’s leadership and promote Canadian culture on the international stage.

Building on the success of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s visit to the country in October, Minister Joly will serve as head of the Canadian trade delegation at the International Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society. She will use the opportunity to strengthen bilateral relationships, promote and advance Canadian creative exports and trade, and highlight women’s leadership at home and abroad.
