Launch of Programming for Festi Jazz Mont-Tremblant

MONT-TREMBLANT, Quebec, June 14, 2017
David Graham, Member of Parliament (Laurentides–Labelle), today announced financial support from the Government of Canada for the 11th edition of Festi Jazz Mont-Tremblant. Mr. Graham made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage.
Canadian Heritage provided $6,500 to the Mont-Tremblant Jazz Festival through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program. This support will help increase the number of performances and will allow audiences to celebrate jazz in all its diversity.

For its 11th edition, taking place from August 1 to 5, 2018, Festi Jazz Mont-Tremblant will offer close to 40 free concerts at 2 outdoor venues in downtown Mont-Tremblant, as well as at its top tourist attractions.

For the 4th year in a row, the great double bass player Michel Donato will act as patron of the event.

As part of the Jazz Under the Stars series, Festi Jazz is proud to present for its opening concert renowned saxophone player Christine Jensen, from Nanaimo, British Columbia, and her quintet.
