Showcasing Our Creative Talent on the World Stage: The First Recipients of the New Creative Export Canada Program Are Announced

MONTRÉAL – The Honourable Pablo Rodriguez, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism, will be at Moment Factory’s multimedia studio in Montréal on Monday, April 15 to reveal the first funding recipients of Creative Export Canada, a new funding program that aims to promote Canadian creative industries on the international stage.
Selected from more than 100 applicants, the 20 recipients represent some of the best and brightest in Canada’s creative industries. They come from sectors such as music, video games, performing arts, visual art, design, interactive digital media and more.
Several recipients will be present to share and highlight how important financial support like this is in the international success of their projects.
