Minister Guilbeault to Make Emergency Funding Announcement for 10 Museum Institutions

GASPÉSIE–ÎLES-DE-LA-MADELEINE, Quebec – The Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will make a virtual announcement regarding 10 museums in the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine region on Friday. He will be accompanied by the Honourable Diane Lebouthillier, Minister of National Revenue and Member of Parliament (Gaspésie–Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine).

Journalists must confirm their participation by sending their full name and the name of their media outlet to pch.media-media.pch@canada.ca by 3:00 p.m. on October 22.

A Zoom link will be sent to allow reporters to ask questions after the announcement.

Following the press briefing, the minister will participate in a roundtable discussion with several cultural organizations in the Gaspésie–Îles-de-la-Madeleine region to better understand their challenges and issues.
