Minister O'Regan to Announce Funding for The Rooms

ST. JOHN'S – The Honourable Seamus O'Regan Jr., Minister of Natural Resources, and Member of Parliament (St. John's South–Mount Pearl), will make a funding announcement for The Rooms on Wednesday. He will make the announcement on behalf of the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage.

In order to comply with physical distancing rules, a limited number of media representatives will be allowed on site. No person with COVID-19 or related symptoms will be allowed on the premises. Wearing a face covering is mandatory.

Media representatives must confirm their attendance beforehand in writing to pch.media-media.pch@canada.ca or they may be refused access.

Any person—including members of the media, partners and event organizers—who show symptoms similar to COVID-19, has been in contact with someone who has received a positive COVID-19 diagnosis in the 14 days preceding the event, has been advised by the regional health authority to self-isolate, or has travelled outside Canada in the 14 days preceding the event will be denied entry.
