Government of Canada celebrates Asian Heritage Month at the National Gallery of Canada

OTTAWA – The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, and Paul Chiang, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion (Diversity and Inclusion), will host the official Government of Canada reception for 2023 Asian Heritage Month, on behalf of the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion.

The celebration will take place at the National Gallery of Canada on Monday, May 29, 2023. This year's theme, Stories of Determination, will be showcased throughout the evening with performances and tributes to honour and celebrate the various achievements and contributions of Asian communities across Canada.
