Government of Canada will announce an investment to revitalize the Michif language for the Red River Métis

WINNIPEG – Taleeb Noormohamed, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Canadian Heritage, will meet with the Manitoba Métis Federation Thursday to discuss its ongoing efforts to revitalize the Michif language for the Red River Métis. He will also underscore the Government of Canada’s investment to support this important work.

The parliamentary secretary will be available to answer media questions following the meeting.
