McClintock’s Dream

This whimsical, papier mâché cloud adorns the ByWard Market Building, in Ottawa. This lively and humorous work was created in 1978 by Victor Tolgesy, a Hungarian-born artist.

Tolgesy was turning away from abstract art in the few years prior to his early death in 1980.
