Jason Zante: I interpreted the theme of “Journeys” as a period of becoming. For me it represents this period that is very challenging but also exciting.
It's a phase that shapes our being and for me it represents this unfolding and discovery as a person.
I hope that visitors feel inspired when they're looking at this piece. I also hope that it gives them a sense of escapism and that moment of stillness when they're interacting with the artworks.
Our lives are so busy.
So I think having that moment, looking at the artwork and interacting with it is so necessary, so that you have a moment of reflection and stillness with your surroundings and also with this artwork that's in front of you.
