Bulletin: Improvements to online application system

On December 14, 2019, CAVCO will launch a new version of the online application system. This update includes a number of system enhancements that improve existing functionality and processes. The latest features include the following:
- Modified Layout
- The two pages previously titled “funding” and “costs” have been merged into one “financial information” page.
- All of the financial information about the production can be viewed on a single page.
- Removal of Chain of Title Page
- Clients no longer need to provide chain of title agreements when submitting a CPTC application. If chain of title agreements are requested during analysis, they can still be attached in the additional documents section.
- New Breakdown of Costs Page
- All new applications now allow for the breakdown of Canadian costs to be directly inputted into the application form.
- Improved Message Centre Features
- Clients may now archive or delete all messages in the online portal to assist in management of inbox.
- The contact page has been removed. Clients may specify the primary and additional contacts directly on the summary page.
- Other Enhancements
- The Case File Number will now be displayed next to the production title to allow clients to better search and identify productions.
- The total key creative points are now calculated and reflected as clients fill in the application form.
