Bulletin: Two-factor Authentication Coming to GCKey

As of July 31, 2023, an additional security layer will be added to the GCKey authentication platform. Clients who log in to CAVCO’s online application system using GCKey will be required to provide an additional credential to verify their identity. Currently, the GCKey authentication only requires users to type their username and password when logging into their account. With this updated GCKey security service, clients will still type in their username and password, but user verification will also involve a passcode delivered via an authenticator app or by email.

This two-factor authentication approach will reduce the risk of security breaches, better protecting CAVCO’s clients, programs and services.

The new security measures will be added to the GCKey authentication platform only and not the Sign-in Partner Login.
