Bulletin: Improvements to online application system
Gatineau, March 10, 2022
Throughout the coming year, CAVCO will implement several enhancements to the online application system. These updates were prioritized in response to feedback received through a recent client satisfaction survey focusing on improving existing processes. Two of these new features will be effective as of April 5, 2022 and will include the following:
- Fee payments by credit card
- Fees may be securely paid with a credit card.
- Credit card transactions are processed by Moneris for the Receiver General of Canada, and CAVCO will not retain any cardholder information.
- CAVCO will continue to accept cheques sent by mail.
- In the event of an overpayment, CAVCO will issue a refund by cheque to the primary applicant.
- Digital Attestation
- New CPTC and PSTC applications will no longer require a signed hard copy of the attestation.
- Applicants will be prompted to complete the attestation electronically when submitting the application through the online portal.
- The company account administrator can designate any individual to submit the attestation and application on its behalf.
- If an individual other than the person preparing the application requires access to complete the attestation, they can be added as a contact to the application or the application may be transferred to a company account belonging to this individual.
CAVCO will continue to inform our clients of other significant improvements to the online application. For any technical assistance, please contact CAVCO at bcpac-cavco@pch.gc.ca or 1-888-433-2200 (toll-free).
