Destination Clic – French Enrichment Program
Labour disruptions impact at Canadian Heritage
The Government of Canada and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) have reached a tentative agreement, ending the strike affecting many public service members. There may still be some service impacts over the next few weeks.
Destination Clic is a three-week summer program for francophone students in Grades 8, 9 and 10 who attend a French-language (French as a first language) school and live outside of Quebec. The program contributes $2,400 for each participant to cover the costs of tuition fees, instructional materials, meals, and lodging.
Who can apply
To be eligible, students must:
- be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
- have permanent residence outside of Quebec;
- be enrolled in a French-language school (French as a first language) in Grade 8, 9 or 10; and
- have been a full-time student for at least one term during the current school year.
Note: Students who speak French as a first language but do not attend a French-language school may also apply, but further documentation or assessment may be requested to ensure they have the required level of fluency.
