Competition Bureau to hold technical briefing following release of Retail Grocery Market Study report

On June 27 2023, the Competition Bureau will release the report on its Retail Grocery Market Study

The Bureau launched its market study of grocery store competition in October 2022. The objective of the study was to explore how governments across Canada can act to promote greater competition in the grocery industry.

Following the publication, the Bureau will hold a technical briefing about the study’s findings. 

Bureau officials will provide opening remarks, then will answer questions from media.
