Biography

Amanda Salmon has a B.A. (Hons) in Art History and English from Queen’s University as well as diplomas in Collections Conservation and Management from Fleming College and Cabinetmaking from the Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. She has also completed internships at Parks Canada and the Canadian Conservation Institute, and she has worked extensively in the private sector for several museums and institutions across Ontario, including the Ontario Heritage Trust, the Ontario Museum Association and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Amanda is a member of the Canadian Association for Conservation of Cultural Property and the International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works.
