Commissioner’s Directive (CD) 026 – Communications

The CD has been reviewed as part of the Correctional Service of Canada’s review cycle.

A number of technical changes were made to the policy to ensure it remains in line with current communications requirements, procedures, and best practices. In addition, the policy has been changed to incorporate gender-inclusive language.

Communications at National Headquarters revised the policy in collaboration with Regional Communications.

All staff are affected by this policy.

Incumbents of the positions identified in the CD are responsible for the implementation.
