Nelson Mandela International Day
On July 18, we observe Nelson Mandela International Day. Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison. Throughout his life he advocated for the fair and humane treatment of all, including prisoners.
On this day, people all around the world raise awareness about prisoners’ treatment and promote humane conditions of imprisonment.
Through our work, we honour his memory and uphold his values on protecting rights and advancing equality and fairness.
