Commissioner's update for offenders and their families: October 28, 2024
Every October, we celebrate Occupational Therapy Month to recognize the important work of occupational therapists.
They help individuals with physical and/or mental health concerns do daily tasks, such as getting dressed, participating in school, work, and social activities.
I encourage you to take a moment to thank the occupational therapists at your institution.
I would like to remind you that we are looking for submissions from you for the 2025 Ethnocultural calendar. We are asking for original artwork or poetry on anti-racism/anti-discrimination, under this year’s theme: “Diversity is Strength.”
For more information on how to provide a submission, please see a Social Program Officer or Ethnocultural Site Coordinator at your site. The submission deadline is this Thursday, October 31.
