Commissioner's update for offenders and their families: August 18, 2025

I want to remind you that CSC is developing its 2026 Ethnocultural Calendar. We are looking for submissions from you. This year’s theme is “Cultural Inspirations!” We are asking for original artwork, poetry and recipes about inclusivity, individuality and cultural diversity.

This is an opportunity for you to express yourself creatively and to have your voice heard. Every year, I am impressed to see your work. Your efforts can truly be felt through your art. 

Please reach out to an institutional Social Program Officer, Ethnocultural Site Coordinator, or Community Parole Officer to learn more about how to submit your work.

Note that the submission deadline is September 29.
