Overview

Express Lane is a simple interactive web site for managers that standardizes, simplifies, and expedites our low-risk staffing process and actions requiring limited human resources (HR) consultation. This web-based self-service approach enables managers to place requests online for low-risk staff needs in these categories:

• assignments/secondments without relocation or traveling costs
• casual employment
• external and internal non-advertised deployment without relocation costs
• student employment
• term extensions: extensions beyond 18 months will not be included in order to avoid potential rollover, unrealistic expectations, etc.
• short-term acting appointments (less than four months)
• subsequent acting appointments
