Proactive Disclosure
The Government of Canada has implemented a series of measures to strengthen public sector management by enhancing transparency and oversight of public resources in the federal government.
One of these measures includes the proactive disclosure of financial- and human resources-related information by departments and agencies. By making this information readily available on departmental websites, Canadians and Parliament are better able to hold the Government and public sector officials to account.
Disclosure of Travel and Hospitality Expenses
Information on the travel and hospitality expenses incurred within the Correctional Service of Canada by the Commissioner, senior executives, publics servants and non–public servants, based on the format outlined in the Template and Guidance for Expenditures on Travel, Hospitality and Conferences.
Disclosure of Contracts
Information on contracts issued by or on behalf of this institution. Every three months we will be reporting contracts awarded by the institution in the previous three months.
Disclosure of Position Reclassifications
Information on the reclassification of occupied positions by department and agencies on a quarterly basis.
Disclosure of Grant and Contribution Awards Over $25,000
Information on grants and contributions over $25,000 awarded by the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC).
Disclosure of Wrongdoing in the Workplace
Information on founded cases of wrongdoing, investigated in accordance with the PSDPA.
Proactive Disclosure of Briefing Note Titles and Numbers
In accordance with the Access to Information Act, the government proactively publishes titles and reference numbers of memoranda received by ministers and deputy heads.
Briefing materials prepared for the Minister or Commissioner
Briefing documents prepared for either the Minister of Public Safety or the Commissioner of the Correctional Service of Canada.
