Death of an inmate at Beaver Creek Institution – medium security unit

November 27, 2015 – Gravenhurst, Ontario – Correctional Service Canada

On November 26, 2015, Charles Edward Sinobert, an inmate at Beaver Creek Institution died at the Regional Hospital in Bath, Ontario.

At the time of his death, Mr. Sinobert, 56 years old, had been serving an indeterminate sentence since June 28, 2012, for First Degree Murder.

The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.

As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and the Correctional Service of Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
