Recapture of Inmate from Willow Cree Healing Lodge

February 25, 2016 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Correctional Service Canada

At approximately 10:10 p.m. on February 24, 2016, inmate Allan Roderick Wright was apprehended by the Calgary Police Service.

This inmate had been unlawfully at large from Willow Cree Healing Lodge, a minimum security federal institution, since December 19, 2014.

CSC is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Ensuring the safety and security of institutions, staff, and public remains the highest priority in the operations of the federal correctional system.
