Recapture of Inmate from Stan Daniels Healing Centre

August 30, 2016 – Edmonton, Alberta – Correctional Service Canada

At approximately 12:00 a.m. on August 30, 2016 inmate Carlos Tecomba was apprehended by the Edmonton Police Service.

This inmate had been unlawfully at large from Stan Daniels Healing Centre since August 29, 2016.

CSC is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Ensuring the safety and security of institutions, staff, and public remains the highest priority in the operations of the federal correctional system.
