Death of an inmate at Millhaven Institution

December 6, 2016 – Bath, Ontario – Correctional Service Canada
On December 5, 2016, Bryen Madill, an inmate from Millhaven Institution died while in our custody.
The offender was pronounced dead at 8:34 a.m.
At the time of his death, Mr. Madill, 72 years-old, had been serving an indeterminate sentence for invitation to sexual touching and sexual interference, since March 19, 2009.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified.
