End of Modified routine at Bath Institution – Medium-security unit

February 27, 2017 – Bath, Ontario – Correctional Service Canada 

The modified routine put in place on February 14, 2017, as a precautionary measure after some inmates showed symptoms associated with a gastrointestinal illness has ended.  The institution has resumed its normal operations.  

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) worked with health authorities in order to resolve the situation as soon as possible. 

CSC is committed to provide a safe and healthy environment for all staff, offenders and members of the public.
