Death of an inmate at Bath Institution

On March 8, 2017, Timothy Sherbert, an inmate from Bath Institution died while in our custody.

At the time of his death, Mr. Sherbert, 46 years old, had been serving a sentence of 11 years, since March 17, 2010, for Robbery, Break and Enter and Possession of a Firearm.

The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.

As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified, and Correctional Service Canada will review the circumstances of the incident.
