Death of an inmate at the Federal Training Centre

On September 7, 2017, Robert Harris, an inmate from the Federal Training Centre died while in our custody.

At the time of his death, Mr. Harris, 71 years old, had been serving a sentence of three years for Indecent Assault – Male and Sexual Interference with Female Under 14 since October 29, 2015.

The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.

As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, the police and the coroner have been notified.
