Visits suspended at Warkworth Institution – Influenza outbreak

Starting January 22, 2018, all visits to Warkworth Institution are suspended pending further notice due to an influenza virus outbreak amongst the inmate population. Starting Thursday January 25, 2018, visitors who have already planned a visit are asked to contact the institution directly to confirm if visits have resumed

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is working with health authorities in order to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
