End of lockdown and search at Joyceville Institution – Assessment unit

The lockdown put in place at the assessment unit at Joyceville Institution on July 5, 2019 has ended and an exceptional search has been completed. The institution has resumed its normal operations.

A number of unauthorized items, including weapons, were found during the exceptional search.

Visits to the institution have resumed.
