Death of an inmate from Millhaven Institution – Regional Treatment Centre

January 9, 2021 – Kingston, Ontario – Correctional Service Canada
On January 7, 2021, Clifford Beaucage, an inmate from Millhaven Institution– Regional Treatment Centre died while in our custody of apparent natural causes.
At the time of his death, Mr. Beaucage had been serving an indeterminate sentence for attempted murder, assault, robbery, and manslaughter since his sentence commenced on September 26, 1985.
The inmate’s next of kin have been notified of his death.
As in all cases involving the death of an inmate, Correctional Service Canada (CSC) will review the circumstances. CSC policy requires that the police and the coroner be notified.
